Which one to pick

SO-101 if you want the cheapest path and Hugging Face's own setup guide. The maker's parts list totals $229.88 for both arms and $121.94 for one follower arm, before printing. BOM. Seeed is the seller we check every day; the maker's repo lists these kit sellers: Seeed, WowRobo, RobotEd, Robonine, PartaBot, ForgeMotion Labs, RoboSEasy, NeoBot, Autodiscovery.

phospho Starter Pack if you want to steer the arms with a Meta Quest headset, a gamepad or a keyboard and skip the build. Shipping averages 15 to 30 days and the order is refundable before it ships. phospho

HopeJR if you want a dexterous hand. It is the hardest of the three (4 of 5): a tendon-driven hand, motors sourced from Alibaba links and no store listing we could find. Arm BOM

What you do with LeRobot on these kits

All three follow the same loop: steer the robot yourself (leader arm, headset or exoskeleton), record what it does as a dataset, then train a model so the robot repeats the task on its own. LeRobot repository
